girls, all got the corinne-suddenly-dunno-why-wanna-go-sing-song message??? heard from colleagues that k-lunch is really cheap, so we can hit any outlet then for a chillout session! the last time was not as long a time as we had hoped for. not to mention we hardly do much together, except for the SATC movie that only three of us were present for!

i know all of us are working now, which makes chillout all the more important yahh.. before i go bonkers.

qi, cheer up. not easy i know, but i also know that there's a strong person in you to rise above it all. i sing song for you to make you smile k.. and i also want to let you all know that after knowing you all for more than 10 years at least, hope we can still be friends for one another till we have a super big tiff and hate one another to the core or something, *choy choy*..

hello babes, dont u all realise this blog-a-doodoo has been badly neglected HUH?!!

For the minutes of our last meeting.. I arrived slightly late so when i reached.. we(kim corinne and me) had some boring chat about life and what not until mabel came back from her happy phone conversation... then the gathering came to lifE!!! haha.. so updates were as follows:
1. nothing new happened to me except that im still with mr lan
2. cor is still with the bf albeit going through a bad patch.. would you like to update us now my dear?
3. kimmy has just convocated a while back and might well be having the time of her life torturing kids..
4. MABS HAS BIG NEWS! we all hope to have free accoms when we go to seattle(did i get the place right?) and good food waiting for us so i wish you 2 good luck and alot of money so u can go over and vist very often..

its amazing how easily i lose weight once i get back to smoking. it worked for a while to get me back on track with regards to work, but now i can't seem to concentrate on writing my essays again, and seeing as this seems to be the only thing that gets me back on track normally, i'm writing again.

i dunno why but i have an image of u in a wedding dress. and i wish i could see it clearly to kno what u'll look like. but well, knowing that if i ever see u get married, it would probably be one of the worst days of my life.

i don't believe in parallel universes. but if there is one out there that has us not parting, i really wonder what life would be like for them. tears taste almost like blood.

maybe its for the best this way, that i have this memory, this diary to retreat to. sometime during the holidays i'll see if i can summon up enough strength to read through the entries from day one.

Hey girls, i think bets got a really good idea lah. and that is to take minutes!!! betsy, you are hereby nominated to be honorary secretary since you've done such a good job! heehee.

anyway, i'm up for doing sports activities and mahjong together. only problem is i can't commit every saturday morning as i have worship practice two out of four saturdays. so let's see how it goes ok?

as for mabel's geek, i have no idea where to find for her lah, but just share with you girls whom i've been goggling at the whole week. what with rushing a lot of things this week, he's certainly a welcome and much-needed distraction.

introducing mr ryan rogers, girls... i was looking at his scanned passport at work cos i was plain snooping. can't believe he's like 25 this year (which means andy is older).. and personally i'm quite impressed that he's working in bahrain. wish i could get seconded to the UK or Bahrain too. Enough yammering already!

these bloody angmohs.. i thought ryan was like maybe 30 (he's got these fine lines around his eyes and mouth) and then look at what the passport says! same goes for a lot of my UK colleagues, argh.

Lol, the brainless bride was totally dramatic.. But i dont think things can get any worse so heads up!! *hug*

Now comes the most difficult part.. PLANNING! I'd love to have weekly exercise sessions ya? Im proposing saturday mornings badminton! Our chance to keep fit and flaunt our moves! haha, its irritating me real bad that blogger has implemented an auto spell check to highlight my errors..
anyway, the plan is to have weekly badmintons, but we could always go for the said cycling/roller blading sessions, go pick up aerobics (im just saying.. ) when we feel like it, at least we'll have time set aside to meet up :) Let me know what you guys think and if you all are interested.. We can always make it mj if we feel lazy..
Oh! to add to the above list, 5. Mabel is sick of tall dark and handsome half naked men! how can that ever be.. hahaha

Hey people, long time no post! Anyway, the weather here in Jurong West is quite alright. Not too hot, not too cold. It just rains heavily in the afternoon at around 2 or 3pm. I parade at home in my t-shirt and shorts all day - the velvet jacket I bought just ain't cutting it for me. Makes me look fat. I headed over to my neighbourhood mini-mart that day, and damn! I took pictures but don't have time to load it up into my comp.

Seriously.

Haha, I'm just in a crappy mood. Not trying to make fun of anyone - don't get angry okay! School's been hell. A big pain in the ass. No one told me uni would be this HARD. I can't imagine another 3 more semesters with all this crappy timetabling and mountain of work. I miss you girls - it's a shame that we've been too busy to go out. But I think even if we did, we'd probably won't enjoy it coz of all the @$$isgnments and exams.

But yes! Birthday was great. Wish the two of you could have been here. It was quite fun, even though the stupid PSI was like 150.

duh, i got bored doing project, started wondering how you people are... i know u all have exams but why no updates at all!? have ya all been slacking and not meeting? its bored here man, no one for me to meet up with.. still satisfied with staying here though, less stress less people to care about haha..
let me just do some random blabber here.. i was looking at my friendster few days ago.. someone whom i dont like messaged me to ask how i am.. and i was like why do u care and stuff like that.. and the next few correspondences were alike.. trying to be polite yet very brief, edging towards being curt.. and it just strikes me that very often, i try to block people out of my life.. you piss me off once, i remember it so well its 10x harder to want back in my life.. which i feel is a terrible trait.. like im the most narrow minded person i know and being narrow minded tires me out.. why like that~ are all girls like that or is it just me? no wonder no one friend me.. *sigh*
so when i feel slightly down i look ou tthe window and alas! got snow!!! wahahahahhaha see i feel better already! haha.. its all dark now but there was first snow this morning! spent like 5 mins downstairs throwing snow around with my friends, all of us in our sleep shorts. was cool man... heh.. will post photos when my friend uploads the photos, poor me dont have camera.. so i try to act garang cos i thought it wasnt THAT cold in my shorts.. i wore a knee length skirt to school with my boots.. god knows my school, which is at a higher altitude, has wind! haha.. was freezing when i walked to the bus stop.. and a very smart me bought suede boots, which obviously can get weT! what was i thinking right, i neevr wore suede stuff in singapore anyway.. so my toes almost died of the cold when snow started melting on my boots.. BAD CHOICE...i shall go wrap plasticbag around my feet to keep it from getting wet...
RESPOND OK!! me need to go do my project already and ill check back in a while.. UPDATE LEH!!! before i go, just in case u all miss me, i leave a photo! haha took this when i went for an outdoor camp to torture mysef sleeping on hard ground and enduring the cold.. was a particularly misty day there..

i was just mentioning to kim yesterday during our primary school gathering (it was quite fun, i sat next to zhiqiang all through dinner and drinks, albeit with a little flinching initially) that i mentioned andy to my mom. aiyah my mother ah, standard first 3 questions are 1) is he taller than you 2) does he dye his hair 3) does he pierce his ears. haha but i guess she's ok with him lah, she just gave me that 'what's wrong with you' look when i complained he's too tall for me. yes i'm incorrigible, i know.

Im really really glad that we meet still and i do agree as time passes, my attitude towards the meeting changes.. novelty gives way to familiarity and its really nice that for a few hours i cant quite remember my problems..

ahem.. first off there is a pressing need to rectify what dear 'kimberly the star' has stipulated below.. while i will shamelessly take credit for coercing her to post at such an ungodly hour (or i fear, we'd never get started), i cannot agree with her preposterous suggestion that i can't do sudoku for nuts. much as i was in the company of very dear friends, my dignity is also very dear to me, thank you. and why do sudoku when there are far better ways to entertain oneself (eg. making fun of someone else struggling with sudoku)! =)

well, the power of five's been restored and we even got an extra someone to up the excitement factor so i'm really glad about this outing.

but i guess for me, u gals were always there whenever the only thing in the world that could bug me bugs me - relationships and all related stuff. so ah, if andy doesn't get your approval, then it's bye-bye to him. =)

... thanks to Miss Corinne Lim. "It was your idea," she said (over MSN - but you can't miss the tone), so here I am writing a little reflection of our time together tonight.

I shan't bore people who read this with the details, since most - if not all - were there in person. I must say that we have come a long way, ever since we decided to meet up monthly at the beginning of the year. Initial awkwardness soon gave way to monthly updates and continuous jibes at certain individuals (like moi - I still stick by my stand that I AM funny) and what nots. These "bitching sessions", as Corinne so nicely summed it up, soon became a highlight of my month. Hence the blogname. It's nice to know that you've got firm friends in these girls - after all, there's only so much of men I can tahan.

Betsy once told me that it's interesting how we are just very different people, but are held together because of the fact that we came from the same CCA in Secondary school. I guess that is partly true, but as we shared our lives over these few months, I feel that we've got a lot more in common than we think. Well, for once, we all love oggling at the occasional good-looking guy that passes our way and shamelessly talking about him when he is within earshot. Wait a minute, that's been a common trait in all of us since we were 13. Well, we all erm... erm.. well we're all different but we love each other to bits. And that's enough ain't it.

Time flies though. Old topics of stupid teachers in school and how the school mistreats our wonderful CCA have given way to stuff like who's going to hold her wedding dinner at which hotel and giving approvals on each other's other halves. Betsy, yours gets double thumbs up from me by the way.

Okay, I'm just rambling - simply because it's too late in the morning and I have to be up early for a long day. I shall end off with something new, and perhaps it'll become a trend for whenever I post.

One thing that I learnt today about...

i figure it's a lot easier than to upload directly into the entry itself. not very many pictures, so we'll take more next thursday! i'll search out those of us that aren't in there yet and include them. and i think sq has got pictures too, so link those too yah. =)

thanks corinne for setting this up, really sweet and thoughtful.
guess this is where we discuss and meet up, hopefully update frequently.
seems like those books that we used to pass around to write in sec 3, sec 4 as venting grounds :)

does 'our monthly thing' refer to our periods?
